We will only list our last three completed projects, and this page will be updated every time a project is completed.
The existing property, bears no resemblance to the finished project. As we completely gutted the whole property, removing all internal walls, and rearranged the whole layout, with new walls, and all new services, and totally re-plastered every room throughout, also replacing radiators, and providing underfloor heating in the new kitchen, lounge, diner extension.
We then started on the large rear extension, which had full open ceilings to the apex, this opened the room up, which took advantage of the full glazed window panels of the large gable end wall, which looks out into the garden, and woodlands beyond, we also installed a set of bifold doors, which open out to a nice patio area.
We gave the property a better finished look, by introducing a nice new front porch and entrance hall, with new composite door and side window, this gave the front of the property a focal point and really lifted the kerb appeal of the property. We finished off the project with a nice patio, and a large decking area which stretches from the edge of the garden, and into the woodlands below.
This particular project, was some what smaller than usual, however very rewarding, as a few simple changes has altered the complete use of the rear dining room, and now provides a beautifull bedroom complete with en-suite w.c. and a level access shower room. We also replaced the rear window with french doors, and introduced a block paved patio area and ramp. This now provides full washing facilities, and easier access to the garden, giving a complete lifestyle change to the owners, a very satisfying project for all concerned.
We have shown some before and after photos, so you can get an understanding of how a few simple changes can transform this type of property, and can be used to its best facilities, providing access, confidence and a little more independence.
The customer wanted to keep the same style as the existing property, so we removed and reused the existing stone lintel, we also introduced white upvc french doors, with leaded windows which match in perfectly with the existing property, the brindled block work, also ties in with the existing colours of the property, and brings a nice finish to a lovely little project. While we were on site, we also transformed the rear of the garage into a nice little potting shed by installing a glazed roof, and knocked through a couple of walls, to make three small unusable stores, into one nice potting shed, complete with new shelving and a new rear access door.
This property was newly owned by our client, and she wanted to adapt the internal rooms, to benefit her lifestyle, but also to make greater use of the amazing views available from the rear of her property, which look out onto the open lakeside.
The original property had a spiral staircase which was not user friendly, and divided the rooms off from each other, so the awkward spiral staircase was removed and replaced with a more traditional style staircase relocated at the far end of the property, thus providing a new space.
This new space was converted to a new kitchen and dining area complete with a six meter wide tilt and slide bifold doors, which give a complete new feel to the property, and fully enhance the views available, this new look will have not only improved her lifestyle, but also improved any future asking price. We have provided before and after photos so you can really appreciate the full renovation.
